How to get back Dialog Box / save as window in AutoCAD  FIXED

Issue:

Disappearance of Dialog box.

When executing a command in AutoCAD that normally displays a file selection dialog box (such as OPEN, SAVEAS, RECOVER, HATCH, XATTACH, MAPIINSERT, or SCRIPT), a command-line prompt displays instead. 

Cause:

If you are using lisp routines, you might have one that sets filedia off and doesn't restore it if the routine fails for some reason.

Solution:

Reset the File Dialog variable

On the command line in AutoCAD, enter FILEDIA and set it to 1.

Note: When setting a variable value, always be sure to only have one AutoCAD instance running.

Mostly this will enable the Dialog box, Still if you have problems please follow the below to get it back.

Reset the Command Dialog variable

On the command line in AutoCAD, enter CMDDIA and set it to 1.

Note: When setting a variable value, always be sure to only have one AutoCAD instance running.

Reset the Attribute Dialog variable

On the command line in AutoCAD, enter ATTDIA and set it to 1.

Note: When setting a variable value, always be sure to only have one AutoCAD instance running.
