What's new in Sketchup Pro 2015
Rotated Rectangle tool
This tool can come in handy when you need to draw a
rectangle that doesn’t line up with the default red, green, or blue axes
in SketchUp. You can create precise rectangles, squares, and also utilize
inferencing.
3-point Arc tool
Arc entities consist of three parts: the starting point, the ending
point and the bulge distance. The distance between the starting point
and the ending point is also known as the chord length. Chord length can be specified after you place the ending point of your
arc. Bulge distance, radius, and number of segments can be specified
using the Measurements Toolbar immediately after a arc is drawn.
LayOut’s Label tool
In 2015, LayOut's label tool pre-populates labels for inserted SketchUp
models with information about the SketchUp model, such as the Component
Definition, Volume, Area, etc...
These attributes will automatically
update in LayOut when they change in the referenced SketchUp model. The
Label Tool does not pre-populate labels for non-SketchUp entities.
